Rules & Format
This competition will follow standard Canadian Ninja League Rules
Score is determined by Points and Time. The athlete with the most points and the least time wins
Every obstacle is worth 1pt
Athletes time stops when they finish the course, fail the last obstacle, or time-out. If an athlete times-out your time as of your last failed or completed obstacle
Athletes are allowed 1 retry anywhere on the course. The retry must be used immediately after failing an obstacle and athletes cannot go back to retry a previous obstacle.
Full clears are awarded a bonus point for not using the Retry
Multi-Course competition
Speed Course: Short time (1min-2min) limit with 14-18 obstacles
Strength Course: Long time (3min-4min) limit with 10-12 obstacles
Athletes will run both courses in one day and adequate rest will be given between runs
Athletes final score will be combined using CNL’s Percent Based Scoring System
The Speed Course will affect athletes overall time percentage more than the strength course
The Strength Course will affect athletes overall points percentage more than the speed course
